Food Programs

It takes a long time to grow an old friend” – John Leonard

ISC offers a daily lunch Monday – Friday at 11:45 a.m. Come meet your friends or make new ones while having a nutritious and affordable lunch. Menus are planned in advance and this program is made possible through a partnership with CICOA. A suggested $2.00 contribution helps support the lunch program.

Food Services: With the closing of ISC at the end of June 2012, CICOA is directing the transfer of the congregate meal services and home delivered meals for those at ISC to alternative CICOA meals sites that are convenient to participants.

Home Delivered Meals – CICOA delivers hot and wholesome meals to residents of Marion and the surrounding counties Monday through Friday. To receive home-delivered meals, individuals primarily should be confined to their home due to physical or mental health reasons, unable to prepare their own meals and meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • At least 60 years of age; or
  • The spouse of someone at least 60 years of age; or
  • Under the age of 60 with a disability and receiving services through CHOICE, SSBG, or Medicaid Waiver.

They accept cash, credit, debit, SNAP and WICFMNP.
