About Us

“It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” – George Eliot

ISC provides low to no cost programs, fine arts and continuing education classes, and special health, fitness, and social events throughout the year for active adults in Central Indiana. With support from United Way of Central Indiana and CICOA, we provide essential transportation services and serve lunch daily. The Center will be closing at the end of June 2012 and we are working one-on-one with individuals for transitioning of services currently provided by ISC. If you need individual assistance, please contact our Social Services Coordinator Jan Vandever.

We’re located slightly east of downtown Indianapolis in the heart of the historic Lockerbie neighborhood with ample free parking. Our facility is state-of-the art, having undergone a multi-million dollar renovation a few years ago, and includes an on-site fitness center, computer lab, library, cafeteria, ballroom, and classrooms.

We are completely WI-FI and our facility is available for rentals for conferences, retreats, and special events. ISC is open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
